Meet the Artist:
I love art. Vintage. Antiques. Flea markets. I could go on. I took my original desire for repurposed junk (as some would say), painted furniture and unique decor and branched out.
PaperJack Studio started in March 2011. I was in the midst of redoing my childrens rooms and wanted something different for their walls. I took wooden letters and my love of scrapbooking, and decoupaged coordinating papers on them. The look was perfect, and before long, the idea was catching on. Memo boards and custom magnets were also added to the mix. I couldn't help but continue to come up with new ideas and products. Unfortunately, a house fire just a month after opening put the business on hold the remainder of the year. I dabbled in a few craft shows to see how that venture would work.
After the craft shows, I kept veering towards the vintage style, which in short, is more me and my style. You will still see random decoupaged letters, memo boards and decor, in the etsy shop and at markets now and then. I enjoy custom orders, and am happy to meet the needs of someone's home decor or nursery. However, the painted, vintage look is my true passion, which has slowly morphed the business into a new direction.
From there the painted furniture side was born. Between a love for antiques and a degree in Interior Design, it helped make PaperJack Studio what it is today.
